TEASE V

Our host in Rostock was Frieda 23, a center for the arts and media.

Frieda 23 is part of a fantastic community center in the middle of Rostock, easily accessible to all. The Kunstschule Rostock is an integral part and actually its core element.

Before preparations of the vernissage could begin, our American team found out that in Germany Americans/Amerikaner are for sale.

Then the well-exercised preparations for the vernissage began.

Anja Brachmann showed an example of her intriguing, large-scale paintings.

Chairman Klaus Becker gave a brief introduction to the project of “Encounters”, as a means of international language and mutual understanding through working together on arts projects.

Antje Ingber, who was one of the artists of the vernissages in Charlotte and Charleston in 2022, gave her explanations to her paintings. These depicted wild, stormy and threatening weathers over oceans.

Shirin Goldstein and Rebekka Scharf started to engage in a conversation with the audience about their œuvres.

New friendships were founded… Zaire McPhearson and Jacqueline Duhr

and culinary excellence and pleasure facilitated intensive international communication.

As a token of our gratitude for warm hospitality and excellent cooperation Myloan Dinh presented Claudia Assmann with one the three Gingkoes which accompanied the tour.

It was a terrific team and international collaboration.
